Siemens Energy completed the design, installation and commissioning of the electrical assets for Viking Link’s onshore converter stations in both the UK and Denmark, working as principal contractor for the UK station while Energinet built the Danish station, enabling the interconnector to be ready to transport power between the two countries’ transmission systems.
