On 2 June 2020, Energinet’s Viking Link project page reported that Munck Piping was installing cables for the Viking Link project in Denmark. This news item indicates that the onshore land‑cable installation campaign on the Danish side had commenced by this date, with works underway to install the underground high-voltage direct current cables forming part of the interconnector between the Danish west coast and the Revsing substation in southern Jutland.
