As part of the March 2016 seabed campaign, National Grid and Energinet initiated geotechnical investigations (boreholes, CPTs and coring) along the candidate cable corridor. These ground investigations were conducted to determine seabed composition and geotechnical parameters required for cable burial design and to assess suitability of the route for cable installation.
