Prysmian completed the UK onshore land cable installation and jointing for the 135 km onshore section in early February 2023, finishing the pull‑in and jointing activities between the Bicker Fen converter station area and the Lincolnshire landfall. Completion of the land cable joints enabled a high‑voltage intermediate test of the onshore section and prepared the sea/land transition joints to be made to the offshore cables.
