Prysmian performed the Danish landfall operation in March 2022, landing the bundled HVDC cables at Houstrup Strand. The operation used Prysmian’s Cable Enterprise with offshore and onshore teams coordinating a winch pull to bring the cable head ashore; floaters kept the cable buoyant until divers removed them and the cable was laid on the seabed. Burial using water‑jetting equipment followed in nearshore/summer seasons and Prysmian planned sea/land transition jointing to connect to the Danish onshore cable to Revsing.
