Prysmian began the offshore installation campaign for the Viking Link submarine HVDC cables in 2021. Prysmian’s cable-laying vessels (Cable Enterprise and the new Leonardo da Vinci) executed the first installation campaigns, laying the initial offshore cable sections and preparing the route for subsequent mid-sea works and burial operations.
