In 2023 the cable systems linking the Vesterhav Nord and Vesterhav Syd turbines to shore underwent extensive electrical and fibre‑optic testing, including post‑lay and resonance tests from the onshore substations to the offshore assets carried out under Correll Group’s contract for termination and testing of the 66 kV export and inter‑array cables; by 7 November 2023 Vattenfall reported that this cable system testing was ongoing and would continue for some time.
