Description
Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. (Boskalis), in partnership with VolkerWessels, was awarded a contract by Veja Mate Offshore Project GmbH for the design, procurement, fabrication, supply, transportation, installation and testing of 67 wind turbine foundations for the Veja Mate offshore wind farm in the German North Sea. Boskalis stated the contract value was approximately EUR 500 million, with Boskalis holding a 50% share in the partnership scope. The works were planned to commence at the end of 2015 with completion expected in Q4 2016.
