Description
Wergeland Group entered into a long-term partnership agreement with Equinor as preferred supplier for fabrication of floating offshore wind foundations and for assembly of turbines at the Wergeland Base. Equinor stated the first project under this cooperation would be the Utsira Nord floating offshore wind project developed with partner Vårgrønn, based on a concrete spar-type floater concept, with the concrete foundations planned to be produced in Norway.
