In 2019, UNITECH planned to connect a subsea station for wireless charging of subsea drones to the Zefyros floating wind turbine as part of its shift into offshore renewable testing. The charging station connection, due during 2019, was intended to demonstrate new dynamic cable solutions and support Zefyros’s role as a hub for further floating wind pilot projects.
