By the end of 2025, Amprion and Energinet had successfully completed a feasibility study for the TYSDAN Hybrid Interconnector project, which examines connecting two Danish North Sea offshore wind farms of 2 GW each to the German (Lippe) and Danish (Revsing) grids. The study assessed the technical and economic feasibility of this hybrid interconnector concept, including innovative offshore technology such as a potential DC circuit breaker on an offshore platform, and confirmed its contribution to European energy and climate goals.
