In July 2021, Hexicon, through its UK subsidiary TwinHub Ltd, completed the acquisition of the Wave Hub renewable test site off Hayle in Cornwall from local authority Cornwall Council, securing the site and its existing grid and seabed infrastructure to repurpose it for the TwinHub floating offshore wind demonstrator.
