The 32 MW TwinHub floating offshore wind demonstrator in the Celtic Sea secured a 15-year UK Contracts for Difference (CfD) award in Allocation Round 4, becoming the UK’s first dedicated floating wind CfD. The contract, supporting deployment at the Wave Hub site off Cornwall, provides revenue support at a strike price of £87.30/MWh in 2012 prices for delivery year 2026/27, significantly de-risking the project’s future cash flows.
