Offshore site investigation works for the TwinHub floating wind project at the Wave Hub site off Cornwall were commissioned through the European Marine Energy Centre as part of the €31 million AFLOWT (Accelerating Market Uptake of Floating Offshore Wind Technology) project, with the surveys partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund. This programme support helped finance geophysical surveys needed to plan subsea routes and the detailed design of mooring anchors and chains for TwinHub.
