On 2 September 2016, the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy granted a Development Consent Order for the Triton Knoll Electrical System, authorising the offshore export cable, onshore underground cables, intermediate electrical compound at Orby and new substation at Bicker Fen to connect the wind farm to the National Grid.
