The Crown Estate awarded Triton Knoll the largest Round 2 offshore wind farm site licence in 2004, designating an area approximately 32 km off the Lincolnshire coast and 50 km off North Norfolk for development by Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm Ltd.
