In 2015, Statkraft and RWE Innogy (now innogy Renewables UK Ltd) entered into a joint development agreement for the Triton Knoll offshore wind farm, creating a 50/50 joint venture under which innogy managed the project on behalf of the partnership. Subsequent project communications through 2016–2017 continued to describe Triton Knoll as being developed by this innogy–Statkraft joint venture, confirming the shared ownership structure.
