Construction of the Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm was completed in April 2021 and all 90 turbines were fully commissioned by January 2022, marking the project’s transition to full commercial operation. At this point the 857 MW wind farm, located about 20 miles off the Lincolnshire coast, became capable of generating enough electricity to meet the annual needs of approximately 935,000 homes.
