On 31 August 2018, Seaway Heavy Lifting, a Subsea 7 subsidiary, secured a contract for the Triton Knoll project to transport and install 90 wind turbine generator foundations and two offshore substations. The scope includes installation of the two offshore substation platforms that form the offshore high‑voltage nodes of the Triton Knoll transmission system later transferred to the OFTO.
