On 31 August 2018, NKT announced it had been awarded a contract of approximately EUR 115 million by innogy to supply the export and array cable systems for the Triton Knoll project. This firm order, following the earlier preferred supplier agreement, covers two high‑voltage export cable circuits and associated inter‑array cables that transmit power from the offshore array to shore, forming a core part of the Triton Knoll OFTO transmission assets.
