In June 2020, Triton Knoll began offshore export cable installation by successfully installing the first 25 km length of subsea 220 kV export cable from the landfall at Anderby Creek towards the offshore substations. This initial section established the first physical connection between the onshore and offshore parts of the Triton Knoll electrical transmission system, with contractor Boskalis, in consortium with NKT, continuing the campaign through the summer.
