On 22 October 2025, MARA issued a Supporting Entity Multi Party Guarantee Template specifically for the Tonn Nua MAC. This template sets out how multiple supporting entities can guarantee payment of MAC levies up to commercial operation or build completion, providing the financial assurance framework that will apply to both the wind farm developer and EirGrid for the Tonn Nua offshore grid connection infrastructure within the maritime area.
