EirGrid’s bidder information pack for the Tonn Nua offshore grid connection sets a Grid Delivery Date of 1 July 2033, by which time the new 220 kV HVAC transmission assets to Cork and Wexford must be capable of sustaining export of the full 900 MW Maximum Export Capacity and an Interim Operational Notification has been issued, triggering the start of 30-year OG‑TUoS payments for the connection.
