Falck Renewables and BlueFloat Energy, developers of the Tibula Energia floating offshore wind farm off the northeastern coast of Sardinia, launched a stakeholder and community consultation process on 20 May 2022. The developers organised a series of meetings with local stakeholders and communities along the northeastern coast to present the 975 MW project (62 floating turbines located 25–40 km offshore) and to gather feedback for inclusion in the final project design, with discussions focused on economic, social, and environmental benefits for the region.
