Description
LS Cable & System won a contract to deliver the onshore export cable section for the Thor offshore wind farm grid connection in Denmark. The scope included production and delivery of approximately 28 km of 220 kV land cables, supervision of civil works performed by a third-party contractor, cable pulling, installation of joints and terminations, and final commissioning testing of the onshore export cable system, with delivery/installation/testing anticipated in 2024.
