System Testing

RWE’s Thor project information page states that the installation of the offshore high‑voltage substation jacket and topside took place in 2025, followed by the commissioning and testing of the offshore substation in 2026. RWE’s March 2026 press and investor releases (“First turbine up” and “First generation at Thor offshore wind farm”) confirm that the offshore substation and grid connection were in place and that Thor delivered electricity into the Danish grid for the first time in March 2026, which requires that system commissioning and testing were active in 2026.
