Thanet OFTO Limited reports that construction of the Thanet offshore transmission assets was completed in April 2010 and that the assets were energised in June 2010, marking the start of power transmission from the 300 MW Thanet offshore wind farm to NESO’s onshore system at the Richborough 132 kV substation in Kent.
