Description
UNITECH Offshore AS signed a supply contract with the TetraSpar Demonstrator Project to provide a dynamic power cable and grid connection solution for the full-scale floating wind turbine demonstrator outside Karmøy, Norway. The connection point for the demonstrator was the floating wind turbine hub “Zefyros” (former Hywind Demo), which was selected as the interface to the onshore grid. The engagement followed an Early Work Agreement and covered delivery of the dynamic cable system and associated grid connection works for the demonstrator.
