As reported on 27 March 2026, after close to five years of operation at the METCentre site offshore Karmøy, the 3.6 MW TetraSpar Demonstrator had produced almost 70 million kWh of electricity, delivering an aggregate capacity factor of 51.4% and availability of about 98%, with operators collecting over 40,000 hours of operational data to validate the performance and durability of the modular steel spar foundation under North Sea conditions.
