By 27 May 2024, the TetraSpar Demonstrator at METCentre in Norway had generated more than 37 GWh of renewable energy with its 3.6 MW Siemens Gamesa turbine, achieving an overall capacity factor of about 54%, availability of 97% and 98.3% in its first two years, and reaching almost 63% capacity factor and 99.5% availability in 2024, including an average capacity factor above 70% during the Ingumm storm in early February 2024 when wind speeds reached 38 m/s and wave heights exceeded 13 metres.
