In 2010, Suomen Hyötytuuli completed installation of a single 2.3 MW Siemens offshore wind turbine at Tahkoluoto, known as the Pori pilot project, which was Finland’s first offshore wind turbine and remains grid-connected within the Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm.
