Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy implemented a full demerger in 2024, creating a new corporate structure around the Tahkoluoto projects. Under the demerger, all existing wind farms and onshore wind projects, including the operational Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm, were transferred to a new company retaining the name Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy, while the separate Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm extension project was transferred to a newly founded Tahkoluoto Offshore Oy, and the former company’s personnel moved to Arenso Oy to provide wind farm services.
