The Finnish Ministry of Employment and the Economy selected Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy’s Pori Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm plan as an experimental offshore wind project and awarded it a €20 million demonstration subsidy to support construction of Finland’s first offshore wind farm in icy conditions.
