Description
TenneT commissioned a consortium comprising Siemens Energy and Prysmian Powerlink to construct the SylWin1 offshore grid connection. Within this overall scope, Siemens Energy acted as the prime contractor for the SylWin alpha offshore HVDC converter platform package and awarded the platform fabrication contract to Nordic Yards, covering the topside and jacket/foundation for the 864 MW offshore converter platform located approximately 70 km west of Sylt.
