Zone Identified

Sweden Offshore Wind AB, later acquired by Vattenfall, began developing an offshore wind farm on the Swedish part of Kriegers Flak around 30 km south of Trelleborg in 2002, marking the initial identification of this area as a potential Swedish offshore wind zone with up to 128 turbines and 640 MW capacity in the southern Baltic Sea.
