On 19 May 2022, the Swedish government granted Vattenfall a building permit for the Swedish Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm, authorising 35–50 turbines with a total capacity of about 640 MW and maximum tip height of 280 metres, marking a major step forward for the project in Sweden’s economic zone.
