By April 2006, Universal Wind Offshore AB and its consultants had mapped key constraints at Stora Middelgrund, including water depths, seabed conditions, visual impact, wrecks and sport diving sites, valuable natural gravel deposits, and important habitats for seabirds, fish, benthic fauna and marine mammals, documented in a technical description and multiple specialist environmental reports.
