Baltic Offshore’s news section includes a 2018-12-01 item stating that the company has been awarded the submarine cable installation between Nacka and Lidingö for Vattenfall Eldistribution AB, with installation planned in 2019. The project is now documented as an operational 145 kV submarine cable link, which implies that the installation campaign was carried out in 2019. Given that work was scheduled for October 2019 and no evidence of a later schedule or delay was found, the cable installation start is recorded approximately as October 2019.
Prysmian was selected to supply the HVAC submarine power cables, including bundled fibre-optic cables, for the 145 kV submarine cable installation between Högberga and Björknäs on the Nacka–Lidingö route in Stockholm, Sweden. The cables will be used in two 145 kV circuits installed by Baltic Offshore under contract to Otera for the final customer Vattenfall Eldistribution AB, with installation works scheduled for October 2019.
