Description
Reach Subsea was awarded a contract by SSEN Transmission to survey the approximately 165 km, 500 m wide offshore cable corridor route for the HVDC transmission connection between Spittal and Peterhead. The scope included geophysical survey activities (nearshore and offshore, using methods including MBES, SSS, sub-bottom profiling and magnetometer/gradiometer) and supporting environmental/benthic survey and geotechnical investigation to provide seabed and ground-condition data to inform cable routing and installation engineering.
