Description
Nicol of Skene was appointed by NKT to construct the onshore cable section for the Spittal to Peterhead HVDC link at the Peterhead end. The scope included onshore civil engineering works associated with installation of the land cable section, including horizontal directional drilling (HDD) activities near Rattray Head/Peterhead to enable cable installation while minimising surface disruption.
