Description
Fugro carried out nearshore marine survey work for the Spittal to Peterhead Subsea Cable Link, contracted directly by SSEN Transmission. Fugro mobilised its jack-up barge WaveWalker1 to undertake geotechnical borehole investigations at the nearshore landfall areas (Rattray Head near Peterhead and then Sinclair’s Bay in Caithness) to gather seabed composition and nearshore geology data to inform the final subsea cable route and landfall design.
