Following submission of the offshore applications, a statutory public consultation period for Spiorad na Mara ran from 26 March to 7 May 2026, during which the Section 36, Section 36A and marine licence applications and the supporting EIAR were made available online and at venues in Stornoway, North Shawbost and Carloway, and members of the public were invited to submit written representations to Scottish Ministers.
