Ramboll was selected by Ventyr Energy to deliver Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) services focused on the wind farm’s anticipated monopile foundations for Sørlige Nordsjø II Phase 1. The work included starting basic foundation design to accommodate turbines in the 15–18 MW class, incorporating recently collected geotechnical data and addressing site conditions around 200 kilometres offshore with water depths up to about 60 metres. Execution was planned by Ramboll’s Danish wind team supported by global specialists, with growth of the Oslo team to support the Norwegian offshore wind market.
