DNV was awarded a contract by offshore wind developer Ventyr to provide Design Certification services for the Sørlige Nordsjø II (Phase 1) wind turbines, as well as the project’s offshore substation. The certification scope was intended to confirm that critical assets are designed to withstand North Sea conditions while meeting Norwegian regulatory requirements and relevant international standards, supporting the project from the outset of detailed design and assurance activities.
