On 20 March 2024, Ventyr SN II AS (a consortium of Parkwind/JERA Nex bp and Ingka Investments) won Norway’s first offshore wind auction for Sørlige Nordsjø II Phase 1, securing a two‑way Contract for Difference (CfD) with a strike price of 1.15 NOK/kWh (115 øre/kWh) for up to 1,500 MW of capacity. The award grants Ventyr time‑limited exclusive rights to the project area and access to a state support scheme capped by Parliament at NOK 23 billion in CfD subsidies, de‑risking future power revenues for the project.
