Description
Van Oord was selected by RWE Renewables as preferred supplier and EPCI contractor for Sofia Offshore Wind Farm’s monopile foundations and inter-array cable package. Van Oord’s scope included the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of 100 extended monopile foundations and the installation and testing of approximately 360 km of 66 kV inter-array cables connecting 100 turbines to the offshore converter platform on Dogger Bank.
