Description
Asso.subsea signed a contract with balance of plant contractor Van Oord to perform seabed preparation works for RWE’s 1.4 GW Sofia Offshore Wind Farm on Dogger Bank. The scope covered boulder clearance and pre-trenching services along more than 80 km of Sofia’s inter-array cable routes, using the vessel Athena and associated tooling (including an Asso multi-functional plough and the AssoGrapple II ROV boulder grab). The marine operations were scheduled to be executed between Q2 and Q3 2023 as part of the project’s offshore construction phase.
