In August 2017, Innogy Renewables UK Limited took 100% ownership of the Sofia Offshore Wind Farm (formerly Dogger Bank Teesside B) by acquiring the full project interest from the Forewind Limited consortium and placing it under a new subsidiary, Sofia Offshore Wind Farm Limited, thereby consolidating the project into sole Innogy control and enabling its rebranding as Sofia.
