In September 2023, offshore cable installation for the Sofia Offshore Wind Farm commenced, with Prysmian’s new cable-laying vessel Leonardo da Vinci starting the offshore export cable lay. This milestone marks the beginning of Sofia’s subsea export cable installation campaign, linking the distant Dogger Bank site towards the UK landfall and progressing the project’s offshore construction phase.
