Iv provided engineering consultancy and detailed design services for the Sofia HVDC offshore converter platform. Under contract to Sembcorp Marine Offshore Platforms Pte Ltd (SMOP), Iv was responsible for the platform’s detailed design, procurement and integration of auxiliary systems, and for designing the transport and installation process, including workshop drawings for grillages, supporting the delivery of the offshore HVDC transmission asset to be transferred under the Sofia OFTO model.
